I personally love winters.Cold weather and low humidity levels result in dry air, which then steals moisture away from the skin every second of every day.
            During these months, our skin tends to get dry, itchy, and dull due to lack of moisture. We usually look around for good cold creams to moisturize dry skin. in this article some useful method discussed that protect our skin in the winter season,  the most important ways to take care of skin in winter at home, that are homemade tips that protect it from the sun because Sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots, and other skin problems.
              Daily cleansing and shaving can take a toll on your skin. To keep it gentle:
Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time, and use warm not the hot water.
After washing  gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on your skin.
Strong soaps and detergents can strip oil from your skin. Instead, choose mild cleansers.
Brush your lips with a toothbrush to get rid of that excess skin. Because NO ONE likes chapped lips.

Home remedies for dry skin in winter.
          To protect and lubricate your skin, apply shaving cream, lotion or gel before shaving. For the closest shave, use a clean, sharp razor. Shave in the direction the hair grows, not against it.
Moisturize dry skin. If your skin is dry, use a moisturizer that fits your skin type.

Skincare remedies for the winter season:

1. Papaya Face Pack:  

Papayas contain antioxidants and bananas are known for their vitamin content. These two fruits also work as anti-aging agents.


1 piece of ripe papaya

1 banana
2 tbs honey
1 tbs rose water

How to Apply:

Mash the papaya and banana so that no lumps remain. Add the honey and  rose water and mix well. Apply this paste on your face and other dry areas on your body.

2. Petroleum Jelly

Petroleum jelly is easily available.It can be used on dry skin, dry lips, and cracked heels. Petroleum jelly is an emollient and has skin moisturizing properties.

Apply petroleum jelly all over your body and massage for a minute  so that it is absorbed into the skin.

3. Lemon And Honey face pack:


1 lemon

2 tablespoons honey
1 tbs rose water 
1 tbs mulltani mitti
Cotton ball

How to Apply

 Squeeze out the juice from  a lemon and add this to the honey. Mix all things well and apply it on your face with the cotton ball. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse with water.

4. Glycerine:

Glycerine is easily available and is used to solve various dry skin problems. It is a natural moisturizer and helps to restore hydration of the skin, making it soft. 


4 tbs Glycerin

1 tbs Rose water 
1 tbs almond oil
Cotton ball

How to Apply

Wash your face and pat it dry. Leave it slightly damp. Dip the cotton ball in the glycerin mixture and apply on the face. Avoid the eyes . Leave the glycerin on. Do not wash it off.

Your skin not only needs more moisture, but moisture right after you wash. Applying moisture to damp skin helps seal that dampness into the skin. Keep a bottle near the bathtub, shower stall, and at every sink and use liberally every time you wash.
